Dog training apprenticeship:

Carrie has been working with dogs for over 18 years. She has worked with some incredible people like Brad Pattison and Shaun Ellis. She has also trained other people to become trainers through Brad Pattison for 4 years. She offers a very intense and comprehensive apprenticeship program for anyone interested in becoming a dog trainer or for any dog trainers wanted to upgrade their education. You will be working 8 weekends, 9-5pm learning hands on and book work. You will also be experiencing hands on learning at the Socialization Center as well as attending group classes and helping until you are ready to teach.

8 Weekends Long
You will learn how to teach others how to train their dog, dog behavior including the 13 aggression’s and how to diagnose it , and working hands on with dogs including your own. My philosophy is treat free. No bribing the dog! I use only a martingale collar and classes are always outside in parks so that your dog can be trained in the real world. You will learn to teach all the basic commands especially walking on leash, how to become a leader, how to work and teach people to work with their dogs, confidence building, urban agility, socialization and working with various problem behaviors. Quizzes and final exam is part of the program. As well as working with real clients and dogs
You must also complete an 8 week (twice a week) group class with me (Which will be going the same time as the course) to gain experience as well as attend 20 hours of studying dog behavior at the dog daycare.

An annual conference with our graduates is required to upgrade your education.
